Description

Rim sherd from a deep pot (深鉢). Thick and heavy. Narrows at rim. Band at rim of wavy line created by relief and band of raised crenulated pattern. Surface below decorative band is cord marked with curving incised lines. Middle Jomon. Dark in color.
