Description | Tobacco pipe; dark brown in color; stem of pipe is bent upward at the mouth piece end; narrow cylindircal piece of horn used as mouth piece, protrudes from the center of the top end; three faint rings carved around rim; two seperate braided piece of plant fiber are tied around upper part of stem; carved on lower part of stem is imitation of basketwork pattern with horns of an antelope (Bambi) in the center; stem of pipe goes through bottom portion of bowl; bowl has an hourglass shape; top portion is larger and opened at top; bottom part has a flat base; bowl is incised with faint pattern around the rim, center and the base. |
