Description

CBS Register: Babylonian cylinder seal, very rude workmanship. alabaster. First year's campaign.

PBS XIV: a serpent between two trees or palms. a sun disk with twelve rays. A door within a square is perhaps a primitive gate or hut. Rough work done with a cutting tool. Cylinder seal, calcite stalactite, 40 x 32 mm. Nippur, 1889.
