Description | Sherd. Sukhothai ware. A fraction of the base of a ceramic dish or bowl including half of the foot. On the interior of the sherd lies three pontil marks. A cream-colored crackled glaze covers both the interior and exterior of the sherd except for the interior of the foot. Beneath the glaze on the interior portion a spotted fish is painted in a dark brown underglaze. |
