Description | Original Card: Flint implement - Core, roughly shaped to concave cutting or scraping edge. England, Kent, Swanscombe, Milton Street. Lower Palaeolithic. Revised Card: Flint flake - Rectangular. Very thick. Straight edge at extremity. Double cone of percussion. Very much accidental bulb. Quadrangular in section. Cortex remaining on dorsal portion of upper face. Banded flint. Mostly bright orange red shiny patination. England, Kent, Swanscombe, Barnfield Pit. Palaeolithic. |
