Wide mouthed vessel with an ovate body, no collar, flaring, 2 horizontal strap handles on the body, and a flat base. No molded/modeled additions. The vessel has a red slip and is painted with fish and a quadruped animal in black, red, and white. There appears to be a burnished finish on the exterior and a smoothed finish on the interior. The vessel was likely fired in an oxidizing atmosphere as the ceramic paste is orange in color. The catalogue number is written in black ink on the interior of vessel.
