Description | Red polished clay. Female sits with the left leg bent inward and the right leg bent with the knee up. She holds a child with the head of the child resting on her right knee. Child's right foot is broken. Child's facial features are detailed in relief, as are the female's. Female's ears protrude out from face; both ears are pierced. Female is wearing headdress (looks like bandana). Figure is hollow and there is a large hole in the back of the female's head. |
