Description

Razor box. Rectangular carved wooden box with lid; dark brown in color; raised knob in the center of the lid; a brass tack in center of knob; on either side of knob there are carved rectangles, each ornamented with both small and large carved triangles and also raised diamonds; body of box is very plain except for four sets of carved parallel vertical lines on both front and back; there are two holes in piece, one in rear center of lid and the other in the rear center of the lid; a copper hook is attached to a piece of twisted plant fiber that goes through these two holes.
