Description

Bell of Musical Horn - typical of a Basson russe / bass horn (see 84-7-25 bell-less bass horn).

Brass, shapped as animal's head with open mouth with teeth. Eyes and scales on top of head are raised from otherwise smooth surface. Elaborately pained with gold designs. Band around neck and incide of mout painted red.

Good condition. Paint worn off some.
