Technique Basketry
Description

Tall jar-shaped of wickerwork. Inside is second cone-shaped section. Entrance at wide end is thru 4 holes held apart by carved wooden struts. Small end of "cone" and of basket are open. Wrapped and braided border over bamboo splint hoop at small end of outer basket. Strip of split bamboo forms carrier.
