Description

One of a pair of tall, boot-like, leather moccasins. An ankle thong decorated with red and green, glass beads wraps around the moccasin and ties at the front. Stiff leather sole with fur still on the exterior, curls up toward the front. Soft, buckskin upper is decorated with lines of beadwork. The sides have a line of red, green, and white beads. The top has a line of white and blue beads arranged in diagonal lines. The heel has a vertical line of red and green beads. The ankle has one lower band of red and white beads and a second lower band of green bordered by red beads. Above those lines is a wavy line of black a white beads. The collar has white and blue beads arranged in diagonal lines with red bead accents.
