Description | Cylindrical spruce root basket. Fairly coarse weave. Two bands of design in a different fibre (reed?). Water stain 1/3 cup from bottom. Overstiched border on top edge. Technical notes: twined, close twined, two-strand, wrapped weft ("false embroidery"); 13 warps and 17 wefts per square inch. Inverted bottom. |
