Description | Turtle shell with deer hoofs attached to leather straps. A band of leather is tied around the side wall (bridge) of the shell and the hoofs are attached to that band. Two long, cloth strips are also attached to the leather band. A square of leather is woven onto the cloth strips. The leather square is dyed red on one side and one edge has a line of small perforations. |
