Description | Leaf shaped head, blacked on each side of central rib. Long shaft, ferrule missing. Cf. AF3184, 3185, 3197. "Blood-courses", less sharply cut than AF3184, 3185, extend through length of blade. Shank of head round in cross-section. With this spear cf. also AF5018, 3182, 3183; and in AF5017, 3182, 3183 note collar at base of blade with slight ridges in line with long axis of blade at two opposite points in circumference. |
