Description

Bronze fibula: boar. Traces of green patina. Ends of the legs and the pin are missing. Back half of the animal was broken off and mended. Boar is decorated with punched dots, once holding enamel, and incision. Traces of the spring on back of head and the catchplate just below its rump remain.
