Description | Revised: Flint flake - Flint flake. Thick elongated flake. Very slightly rolled. Light grey patination with slight bluish tinge. Portion of cortex remaining at end on upper face. Striking platform near 90 degrees. A small amound of hard (calcareous?) and white clay-like deposit adhering. France, Somme, Montieres, lower terrace. Acheulian? See note on EU 1798a card. |
