Description

Carved and painted figure, possibly a dugong. Painted one side, two eyes and a fish with fins. On the other what appears to be a lizard (a long, sinuous shape with four legs). Background of cross-hatching. Compare F. D. McCarthy, Australian Aboriginal Decorative Art Fig. 22 (p. 35).
