Description | Two small pieces of wood lashed together with vegetable fiber string in the shape of a Latin cross; a lead weight is lashed on top of the shorter cross bar; a line is attached through holes in the longer cross bar above and below the crossing; that line hangs freely below the device; a small notch is cut at the bottom of the long piece. |
