Description

Tomb 2A = Herscher Tomb 802A. Red polished III spouted juglet. Evenly-fired quite dark orange-brown clay. Fairly thick dark red-brown slip, crackled. Round base, piriform body; cylindrical neck, beak spout; tubular spout from mid-body; vertical handle from rim to upper body; lug at front neckline (not preserved); knob at mid-body below handle and on front upper neck.
