Description | Iron. Broard socket extended on one side to form an armature which flares on its lower edge to form the body of the blade. Edges taper from socketted end to blade end. Upper edge flat; lower edge deeply concave. lower tip of blade broken off. Slavonic-Kurgansk type of approximately 10th and 11th centuries. |
