Description

Curved fragment of shell (Conus sp.?). Possibly once finely serrated on the outer edge, but if so serrations now almost completely worn away. Worn and pitted, especially at one end. Tape label reading “Polle.” One of a collection of shell ornaments and fragments, mostly segments of rings, found together in an approximately 10 by 2 foot area of storm eroded beach on Polle Island.
