Description

Feather Fan constructed of arched center of thin leather (reddish-brown with white and dark brown trim) over heavy paper with feathers stuck in around curved sides, then curved side sewn down with string. Paper border sticks out all around. Feathers are ostrich plumes, mostly dyed, several left natural colors. Dyed colors: blue-green, brown, yellow, lavender. Handle is stick covered with reddish brown leather trimmed with dark brown and white, with piece of leather trimmed with dark brown and white, with piece of leather on end for suspension.
