Description | Plaited mat of cedar bark strips. Light colored ground with two darker shades (brown and brown-black) of cedar bark create horizontal bands of diamond design in four bands across the width of the mat. Mat is bordered on all sides by single stripes of dark colored bark. Single width of plaiting nearest selvedge edge made up of double width strip of bark. Poor condition - three major breaks run the width of the mat. |
