Description

Double ring of woven pandanus fibres overlaid with colored wool. Twisted strings with black cockatoo feathers; feathers fastened with beeswax are attached to one side. Native name: Pamagini. Worn on elbows as part of funeral (pukamani) costume. Feathers fastened to ring with twisted human hair string.
