Description | Light colored finegrained rock with concoidal fracture (chert or volcanic origin). Artifact is broken into two pieces with the numbers 57 and 71. One edge is straight while the other is subtriangular. Both edges have steepr retouch, but not over their entire length. The ends are narrow and are also retouched. A large flake (struck prior to the removal of the flake used to make this artifact) covers over one-half of the dorsal surace. |
