Description

Fragment of a round-topped stela decorated with sunk relief. At the left is a standing image of Sekhmet, who wears a sheath dress and a sun disc on her head. Her right arm hangs at her side, and in her hand she holds an ankh. Her left arm is bent, and her hand rests on the back pole of Ptah's shrine in front of her. A short, slightly garbled epigraph in front of her legs identifies her as "Sekhmet, beloved of Ptah."

In the center of the scene stands Ptah in his shrine. He has a tassel, but lacks a clearly defined wesekh. He holds a combined was / ankh / djed scepter in his hands, and an epigraph above his head within the shrine identifies him as "Ptah, Lord of Heaven."

At the right side of the scene stands a female worshipper who wears a flowing translucent gown and a cone on her long wig. Her right hand is raised in praise, and in her left she holds a sistrum. An epigraph above her head and in front of her identifies her as "The Chantress, Hay(?), True of Voice."
