Description | Curved (sickle-shaped) polished dark brown wood sword, blade edged with sharks’ teeth. Twenty-seven teeth on outside of curve (2 broken off), twenty-seven on inside (2 broken off), pierced through bases for individual coconut fiber lashings, which pass through holes along edges of blade. Pronounced median ridge, both faces. Length of braided fiber tied around top of handle, which tapers to point. |
