Sommerville: Pale Onyx. Nero, fifth Emperor of Rome. Gold and Silver Rings - Cameos, Case MMM.

Vermeule: Pale Onyx. Cameo. (Modern gold ring setting) Laureate, bust of Nero (54-68 A.D.) to right. Portrait is probably copied from an ancient coin.
