Description

Tomb 1 = Herscher, Tomb 801. Fragmentary. Small. Very soft orange clay. Gray slip. Slightly flattened base (d.: ca. 0.06), ovoid body, flaring rim; vertical handle to upper body. Incised decoration (preserved): vertical bands of hatching and joined lozenges. Cf. _MCBA_, fig. XXV.11; for possible shape, cf. 804t.1; _SCE_ IV:1A, fig.
