Description | Two unmade huipil lengths, white with stripes. Dark blue and gold ikat stripes alternating with solid red and dark blue stripes with white heading. As per Sigrid Meier, "Warp: 20 epi, one single, Z twist, white cotton. Weft: 38 ppi, two singles, Z twist, white cotton. White sections are predominantly weft faced plain weave. Striped section is weft faced plain weave. Two panels, two selvedges each." |
