Description | Hand loom woven, white cotton with purple stripes, two panels sewn together, brocaded stripes on upper half. As per Sigrid Meier, "Warp: 46 epi, 2 singles, Z twist, white cotton and purple cotton. Weft: 22 ppi, 2 singles, Z twist, white cotton and purple cotton. Warp plain weave. Supplemental Weft single faced with warp wrapping. Two panels, three selvedges each. Woven on a backstrap loom." |
