Description

Bronze lid: mouse. Intact; some green patina. Flat round base of thin metal; on the top a mouse, crouched, and gnawing on something held in his front paws. Large flattened paddle-like tail, to serve as handle; on top of neck behind ears a pierced lug, for suspension. Lid of a lamp?
