Description

Mended from several fragments; surface cracked and worn. Lug-handles broken away. Entire surface blackened. Coarse hard red clay, with gritty white impurities. Originally polished surface? Flat round base, from which sides rise in slight curve to rim. Deep reservoir, two wick-cuttings, two lug-handles, set off from rim by grooves. Two decorative grooves encircle reservoir on rim top, interrupted by nozzles.
