Description
Cofradia cloth. Green cotton with broad, central red and blue stripes. Lower half embroidered with bands and rows of birds and animals in deep rose, gold, pink, green and purple silk and white and purple cotton.
As per Sigrid Meier, "Warp: 44 epi, three singles, Z twist, red and green cotton. Weft: 22 ppi, three singles, Z twist, red and green cotton. Warp predominantly plain weave. Supplementary weft is two faced. One panel, four selvedges. Woven on a backstrap loom."
