Description | Chert or flint "figure 8" borer. Lower surface has a flat spot at the bottom, curving gently up. This curved surface has concentric scrapes and scratches from use. Upper surface is slightly dished out. Indentations on opposing sides to accept the fork of a drill shaft. This object was placed inside stone vessels, and rotated |
