Description

Huipil in three pieces without randa. Red and natural brown cotton. Red cotton brocade on top, center, front and back. Neck overcast in rose, purple and orange silk.

As per Sigrid Meier, "Warp: 56 epi, two singles, Z twist, red and natural brown cotton. Single, Z twist, white cotton. Weft: 20 ppi, two singles, Z twist, natural brown cotton. Three singles, Z twist, red cotton. Warp predominantly plain weave. Supplementary weft is two faced. Three panels, four selvedges each. Woven on a backstrap loom."
