Description | Cofradia. Made of gauze-like cotton. Three panels sewn together. Neck opening unmade. White and cream striped ground. Brocaded in geometric designs. As per Sigrid Meier, "Warp: 32 epi, single ply, Z twist, two strands, cream colored hand spun cotton. Weft: 24 ppi, single ply, Z twist, hand spun cream cotton with stripes of white, single ply cotton, four strands. Three panels, four selvedges. Woven on a backstrap loom." |
