Description | Unmade, navy ground with red and yellow stripes. Silk embroidery in zig zag stripes. Old style, "First class." As per Sigrid Meier, "Warp: 48 epi, single ply, Z twist, two strands, blue, red, yellow cotton. Weft: 16 ppi, single ply, Z twist, two strands, red cotton with yellow shadow stripes. Warp predominantly plain weave. One panel, four selvedges. Woven on a backstrap loom." |
