Description | Two panels joined; neck not cut out. Weft brocading: stripes, geometric designs, dots in red, green, purple, white, yellow cotton with accents of yellow silk. As per Sigrid Meier (1997), "Warp: 56 epi two singles Z-twist dark blue cotton. Weft: 28 ppi two singles Z-twist dark blue cotton. Supplementary weft: single-faced. Plain weave, warp-predominant. Made on a backstrap loom." |
