Description

Heavy dark brown bark cloth skirt, folded and tied into three tiers. Suspended from the first tier, pairs of bright yellow and pink cotton squares; from the second tier, yellow and green squares. Yellow cotton sash under first tier. Maker unknown. Given to Dr. Yoshiko Yamamoto in 1977 by Vaimuddin, head of Kulawi Village, Palu District, Central Sulawesi.
