Fairly heavy wood. Male -63 and female -64. Stylized (see card 58-17-55 to -59 for reference). Arms have an extra segment which arises out of neck. Knees on male carved as if the feet and legs were turned outward. Feet are just small uneven blocks. Noses are pierced, male has a stick through his. Both have a bird-like figure arising out of the tops of the heads; wings hang free. Bird's head is carved out on female figure, but there is only the torso on the male's head. Backs are very crudely finished and unpainted; female has a perforated lug. Painted orange with designs and features accented in black, white and yellow. Female has one leg broken off. Paint very fugitive.
