Description | Simple carved wooden bird. Bulky rectangular body, thick neck and legs. Long pointy beek with slits for eyes and a ridge at the crown of the head. Small relief on body to suggest wings. Black pigment on body. The two points at the tail look worn and chipped. The top of the right foot proper is chipped and the left foot proper is broken off. The belly of the bird lloks like the carving was unfinished. |
