Description | Triangular, with one corner cut. Plant and floral designs in gold, white and green on a brown backing. Border on two of the edges with floral designs in gold. The design is not typical for kamkhwab textiles, which usually have small, allover repeats or small repeats in narrow stripes (including ribbons made for trims). The serrated leaves, ribbon motifs, and vase motif of this design point to the 'persiennes' created for the Euro-American market. |
