Description | Flat conical boss with an almost flat (slightly convex) round knob at the tip. Originally cast, then further turned or hammered out. Rim is cut or filed off vertically and decorated with a heavy impressed line 0.002 m from edge. Inside a mounting loop seems to have been "cast on" seperately (blogs of metal around first join to boss). Uneven medium green patina with areas of blue; an irregular piece of iron corrosion adhering to the rim. |
