Description

White cotton in three pieces joined by wide garnet randa in twisted vine design, entire upper section heavily brocaded in silk and cotton in horizontal bands in gold and black in geometric style, narrow collar solidly embroidered, for woman of first class.

As per Sigrid Meier, "Warp: 36, single sply, Z twist, 2 strands white cotton. Weft: 28, single ply, Z twist, 2 strands, white cotton. Warp predone. Plain weave. 3 panels, 2 selvedges each."
