Description

For woman of better class, woven on wide loom, neck not cut, white cotton, upper half solidly embroidered in purple cotton and yellow silk in concentric diamond pattern, shoulder band toothed diamond pattern in purple cotton, below the embroidery design carried down in red pattern weft band.

As per Sigrid Meier, "Warp: 34 epi, 2 singles, Z twist, white cotton. Weft: 26 ppi, 3 singles, Z twist, white cotton. Plain weave. Supplemental weft - two faced. 1 panel - 2 selvedges."
