Description | Kukri dagger. Single-edged steel blade with recurved bevelled cutting edge convex near point and with deep circular notch below tang. Two deep parallel grooves to top of back. Ivory grip. Black leather sheath, lower half covered with gilt metal with repoussee decoration around edges. Heavy gilt filagree band with long heart-shaped pendant at top with floral decoration. Turquoise in center of loops to which woven metal carrying cord is attached. Two small side knives with bevelled single-edged steel blades and wooden grips. |
