Description | Shape: Jar with one horizontal and one vertical handle (both coils), short neck, and flaring rim. Fabric: Fine, very pale brown (10YR 7/3) clay with decoration in brown (7.5YR 5/4) to black paint. Self-slipped. Decoration: Bands on rim, inside and out. Lines on handle. Pendant semicircles on neck; bands on neck and lower part of body; large oval spots on body. Resting surface unpainted. Condition: Horizontal handle and fragments from rim missing. Surface eroded. |
