Description | Made by Charlotte Bigmeat in Catawba style. The clay is very smooth and very glossy. It varies in coloring because of unequal firing. Around the lip of the bowl are four "hump-like" protruberances that decorate each "corner" of the rim. Further down where the rim curves down towards the base of the bowl, there are eight more "hump-like" protruberances spaced around the bowl approximately 1" apart. |
