Description

Hunting trophy, consisting of horns and forehead of anoa (wild cow, found only on Sulawesi). Hung on walls as trophy of successful hunt of this very fierce forest animal. This trophy given to collector as gift when admired hanging on porch of Tama Ari's house in Towulu. Triangular piece of skull, with two straight tapering horns. Loose scalp flesh, nail (not present) in forehead.
